Former Stoneham Little League Player, John Conlin, is currently working on his Eagle Scout Project!
John's Eagle Scout Project is a community project that will benefit Stoneham High School. Over the years the home dugout at the Stoneham High School Baseball field has fallen into disrepair and is in need of reconstruction. John consulted with Stoneham High School Athletic Director, Mr. David Pignone, who concurred that this project would benefit Stoneham High School. John plans to rip out the old plywood and reconstruct a new roof that will be covered with a new rubber membrane. This will stop all leaks and should last many years. John also plans to touch up the paint in and around the dugout area as well. John plans on starting the project in late summer and is scheduled to complete the project before the start of the school year in September.
In addition, John was required to solicit the funds necessary to complete his project. As part of that endeavor, John made a formal presentation to the Stoneham Little League Board of directors and received partial financial support as a result of his professional handling of the project.
Stoneham Little League is proud of John and his efforts toward OUR community!
Keep up the good work. |
