The Stoneham Little League season is winding down. However, don’t put that glove away at the end of the season! Once again, Stoneham Little League, in conjunction with the Jimmy Fund, is giving all Stoneham Little League players the opportunity to extend the playing season into the summer months. Stoneham Little League wants you to play on a Jimmy Fund All-Star travel baseball team this summer to represent Stoneham. The Stoneham Jimmy Fund All-Stars will travel to other towns during the summer to take on rival Jimmy Fund All-Star teams. Each Stoneham Jimmy Fund All-Star team will attempt to raise money to donate to the Jimmy Fund. Prizes are awarded through the Jimmy Fund to teams who raise the highest amount of money in their respective league. We want you to be part of the action, so don’t miss out this summer. In addition to playing more baseball, you’ll have the opportunity to raise money to help those in need. It’s a winning combination. Help the Jimmy Fund hit a home run against cancer this summer.
Jimmy Fund Leagues exist for the following age groups: 8-9 year old division; 9-10 year old division; 11-12 year old division; Teams are forming now. Managers, coaches and players are needed. The application form can be downloaded from the Forms section at www.stonehambaseball.com.
